What would it look like for the Church to fight on the offensive, instead of the defensive? We often have a passive stance in bringing the Gospel to the world but effective evangelism happens when we use wisdom and creativity. Just as the Salvation Army brought the Gospel to the East End of London with an unexpected (and very effective!) tactic, this message inspires us to ask God for how we can proactively approach our generation. The Almighty Defense – The Armor of God

The Apostle Paul mentions a certain sword, shield, helmet, breastplate, belt, and shoes in Ephesians chapter six. And he refers to them as the believer’s “armor.” Paul clearly commands us to dress ourselves in this “armor” in order that we may effectively fight this spiritual battle in which we find ourselves currently employed. However, even with the presence of a clear command, many Christians today are under the impression that this “armor” is merely for little kid’s in Sunday school class, and not something that mature Christian adults are supposed to actually “put on.” In many ways, we have lost the grandeur and majesty of God’s purchased weaponry and many Christians think of God’s “armor” as plastic, dime-store religiosity. The saints of God have not been left here on earth alone, to fend for themselves. They have been given every last thing they could possibly ever need in order to thrive in life and godliness.

Grim Reaper the Reality of Death


This is about people who have died and the effects it has on people. These people lived in a apartment complex. When they saw a dead person which is a reality . That some day you will die and be in a body bag. The effect it will have. Did you know Moses thought about his death. Jesus thought about his death . It’s wise for us to number are days. There was one guy who had cancer with a 10% chance to live. he tried a ginnie pig treatment, but he lived. He asked if he was scared. he said he thinks often about his death. More people need to think they will die one day. This will give you wisdom about death and life. When we realize we only have one life to live. Then we need the difficult thoughts to have the right Perspective of life and meaning in life from temporary to eternal.Death is a sobering wake up call in light of this life we have. There is hope even through all of this because death will smile upon you. are you ready?.

The Voice of God


People and cultures throughout the ages have sought to hear the voice of God. Some have sought to hear God through weird transcendental meditative states. Some have sacrificed unto idols and the sun, moon and stars hoping that “the gods” would be pleased and communicate with them and bless them. Some have gone off to some cave, and come out proclaiming to have heard from God, and thus we have Islam, Mormonism and other such religions. It seems like we as humans have tried anything and everything to hear God’s voice. So, how does the Christian hear God’s voice? Are we left to rely on some inner train of spontaneous thoughts, and hope that one of them is actually God’s voice leading us? Do we over-spiritualize our words and just say “thus saith the Lord” even if we’re not sure that the Lord has thus said?! Here’s the miraculous reality, God has been and is always speaking to His people! How? Well, that’s what this message is all about!

Americanized


This is a study in the forceful and terrorizing grip that unmitigated self-appetite can have on both an individual life and the life of a society. To be American used to carry with it (whether it was deserving or not) the Puritan ideals of integrity, chastity, prudence, temperance, goodwill, generosity, and mercy. But times have certainly changed. Now, it appears that around the world today, the “American” is often known instead for their bizarre sense of entitlement and their strange brand of religion (oft misunderstood to be Christianity) that gives them a so-called “liberty” to live in a constant state of excess and self-seeking pleasure. And thusly, the once noble and honorable word “American,” has become a synonym for “Glutton.” Oh, for the Church of Jesus Christ to come out from among this and be separate.

Deuteronomy 21:18-21
If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:
19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;
20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.
21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

Romans 6:13
Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Does God Still Heal?


It has taken Eric Ludy four years of spiritual wrestling before he was ready to deliver this super-charged message.  After all, within a modern Christian system that has been greatly undermined by the “Health, Wealth, and Prosperity Gospel,” no one in the “Biblically Conservative” camp really wants to touch this issue which lies right smack in the middle of the “Charismatic” and “Faith Movement” controversy. It’s high-time that the Church of Jesus Christ gain a Biblical and sound answer to this important issue of healing without blindly throwing the blanket answer of “cessation” over it.  Was healing merely an outward seal upon the ministry of the Messiah and His apostles, or is it something that is intended by God to be included in our understanding of the Atonement? The answer to that question has far-reaching ramifications.

It’s not just the giver, but the “cheerful” giver that God loves. However, most Christians are anything but cheerful when it comes to parting with their time, energy, and hard-earned resources. The Biblical pattern for joyful, eager, ready giving is desperately overdue to make a comeback in the Church.

Fearless Christian


Fear controls the modern American Christian. And for most in the post-modern Church, this is non-chalantly accepted without a fight. But, the Biblical declaration of the healthy Christian soul does not allow for even a scrap of self-preserving fear, fretting, anxiety, and foreboding. It’s simply not intended to be a part of the Christian life. So, how do we deal with this great discrepancy? And how do we start living the lives of fearless faith that God intended us to be living?
