A COMFORTABLE RELIGIOSITY

Art Katz states that we have not only missed the cross in today’s culture, we have also missed the power of the resurrection. As a result, we are living fleshly, sensual, and devilish lives rather than the triumphant-victorious life we have in Christ. This message is an appeal to turn back to Jesus as He actually is. http://ellerslie.com

Reach Our Generation 2014

Eric Ludy – The Heaven-Bred Warhorse from Ellerslie Mission Society on Vimeo.

What would it look like for the Church to fight on the offensive, instead of the defensive? We often have a passive stance in bringing the Gospel to the world but effective evangelism happens when we use wisdom and creativity. Just as the Salvation Army brought the Gospel to the East End of London with an unexpected (and very effective!) tactic, this message inspires us to ask God for how we can proactively approach our generation. We all have been placed in this generation by God and are being built for such a time as this. Look out world! Delivered by: Eric Ludy

The Almighty Defense – The Armor of God

week4_0

The Apostle Paul mentions a certain sword, shield, helmet, breastplate, belt, and shoes in Ephesians chapter six. And he refers to them as the believer’s “armor.” Paul clearly commands us to dress ourselves in this “armor” in order that we may effectively fight this spiritual battle in which we find ourselves currently employed. However, even with the presence of a clear command, many Christians today are under the impression that this “armor” is merely for little kid’s in Sunday school class, and not something that mature Christian adults are supposed to actually “put on.” In many ways, we have lost the grandeur and majesty of God’s purchased weaponry and many Christians think of God’s “armor” as plastic, dime-store religiosity. The saints of God have not been left here on earth alone, to fend for themselves. They have been given every last thing they could possibly ever need in order to thrive in life and godliness.

Evidence Of Noah’s Ark

BOZZINSIEME DI ANIMALI(A

Why would Noah build an ark for 75 years at the most? If there were a local flood then he didn’t have to build an ark. He could travel to another place where there was not a flood.
Why would God have to bring two of e…very land-breathing creature to the Ark? If there was a local flood they would be safe where they were located.
The answers to the above questions have no logical sense when we try to interpret the Genesis Flood as a local flood like many has said.

Genesis 9:8-11

8 Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him: 9 “I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you 10 and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth. 11 I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

Genesis 9:16
16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”

If we interpret the Genesis Flood to be a local flood, then God’s everlasting covenant is meaningless because we have many devastating local floods throughout the world and they do not wipe out all the animals. The only interpretation that is consistent with God’s everlasting covenant is that it was a worldwide Flood. Since the fossil records have proven that it was worldwide. What then is my point! I am pointing to the fact that the flood was real.

fish_florissant_fossil_beds_wide

The Genesis Flood was a judgment on the world’s sin. Sin will always bring death. Jesus talked about the Flood. This world mocks God. This world system loves to sin. God hates sin and must punish sin.
People love the baby Jesus but I have to tell you something. He will bring judgment on this world. If a person refuses to repent and follow Jesus then the person will face the wrath of God.
The world will be surprised when the wrath of God is upon this world.

Matthew 24:37-39
As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

The Voice of God

People and cultures throughout the ages have sought to hear the voice of God. Some have sought to hear God through weird transcendental meditative states. Some have sacrificed unto idols and the sun, moon and stars hoping that “the gods” would be pleased and communicate with them and bless them. Some have gone off to some cave, and come out proclaiming to have heard from God, and thus we have Islam, Mormonism and other such religions. It seems like we as humans have tried anything and everything to hear God’s voice. So, how does the Christian hear God’s voice? Are we left to rely on some inner train of spontaneous thoughts, and hope that one of them is actually God’s voice leading us? Do we over-spiritualize our words and just say “thus saith the Lord” even if we’re not sure that the Lord has thus said?! Here’s the miraculous reality, God has been and is always speaking to His people! How? Well, that’s what this message is all about!

Americanized

This is a study in the forceful and terrorizing grip that unmitigated self-appetite can have on both an individual life and the life of a society. To be American used to carry with it (whether it was deserving or not) the Puritan ideals of integrity, chastity, prudence, temperance, goodwill, generosity, and mercy. But times have certainly changed. Now, it appears that around the world today, the “American” is often known instead for their bizarre sense of entitlement and their strange brand of religion (oft misunderstood to be Christianity) that gives them a so-called “liberty” to live in a constant state of excess and self-seeking pleasure. And thusly, the once noble and honorable word “American,” has become a synonym for “Glutton.” Oh, for the Church of Jesus Christ to come out from among this and be separate.

Intercession

Why would someone who does not believe in GOD or THE GOSPEL be watching this video??? Something inside your heart tells you that you are in need of such a loving God. In need of an Intercessor for your sins….. ONE DAY YOU ALL WHO DO NOT BELIEVE WILL KNOW HOW GOO IT FEELS TO SAY WITH A LOUD VOICE THANK YOU JESUS MY LORD FOR RESCUING ME!!!!. Ask yourself the tough question, what moves you in this life?, You choose. Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Do you really trust him and are you willing to lay your life on the line and prove God faithful or are you to busy. There are lost are you saying God send me! or are you going to let someone else get the job description God designed for you? Maybe you say I’ll only follow God so far, anything beyond this point is extreme. Don’t you realize he purchased your body and you belong to Jesus Christ? Don’t define the terms of how he uses you. Are you willing to go if he asks without the comforts of life for Jesus Christ your King? Are you willing do suffer and die for Christ if he calls you. Put your life for him to be willing to let go. Jesus was described as a worm and no man you don’t need to be noticed. Go do his work. James 5:3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

Eric Ludy – The Gospel

The Gospel – http://www.ellerslie.com – May we be unashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16) Please note that this is a metaphorical take on the Gospel. It presumes a knowledge of the historic framework of the Cross, Burial, Resurrection, and Ascension of Jesus Christ. Though certain elements of the Cross-work are not fully explained herein (i.e. – Jesus’s fulfillment of all righteousness, His perfect match with all the Old Testament Messianic prophecy, and His bearing of the outpoured wrath of God in our stead), we in no way wish to diminish their significance and importance in the Gospel landscape.

DEPRAVED INDIFERENCE

http://youtu.be/UWHJ6-Yh

“We say thank you god for being a father to the fatherless. But he says remember you call yourself my body, I’m not there except through you, your hands are my hands, your feet are my feet, that heart is my heart. I work through my body, I’m a father to the fatherless through my body”. God is looking for more than the money of the saints. He’s looking for the entirety of their lives to be spent for the weak. Psalm 41:1 Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the Lord delivers them in times of trouble.

Does God Still Heal?

It has taken Eric Ludy four years of spiritual wrestling before he was ready to deliver this super-charged message.  After all, within a modern Christian system that has been greatly undermined by the “Health, Wealth, and Prosperity Gospel,” no one in the “Biblically Conservative” camp really wants to touch this issue which lies right smack in the middle of the “Charismatic” and “Faith Movement” controversy. It’s high-time that the Church of Jesus Christ gain a Biblical and sound answer to this important issue of healing without blindly throwing the blanket answer of “cessation” over it.  Was healing merely an outward seal upon the ministry of the Messiah and His apostles, or is it something that is intended by God to be included in our understanding of the Atonement? The answer to that question has far-reaching ramifications.

The Cheerful Giver God Loves

The Cheerful Giver God Loves

It’s not just the giver, but the “cheerful” giver that God loves. However, most Christians are anything but cheerful when it comes to parting with their time, energy, and hard-earned resources. The Biblical pattern for joyful, eager, ready giving is desperately overdue to make a comeback in the Church.
