“The BattleField” How To Guard Your Mind

skull-2791111_640

It is crucial for every Christian to understand that he/she is in a mighty Battle for the Mind. You cannot get around it as a Christian you must have perseverance, preparedness and weaponry to win this battle. This battle is on a spiritual level all done with spiritual weapons not human weapons to win this battle and be victorious. We can not fight with worldly philosophies, persuasive words of human wisdom, human wit, rationalism, entertainment, skills, reasoning and ideas these won’t win the spiritual war.  Fasting and prayer can build your faith to help you in this battle.

Hebrews 10:22-23
let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful

This is a battle of the mind and heart the devil is like a “roaring lion and he wants to devour you.

1Peter 5:8-10
Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. 10 After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.

The Bible has a lot to say about the need to guard your thoughts, about putting God’s will above your own will, and putting on the mind of Christ:

LISTEN TO AUDIO BELOW / How to guard your mind

(Philippians 2:5)
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus”

(2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, 4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 5 We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,

(James 4:7)
Submit therefore to God Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

THE REAL SABBATH

My Post.jpgyy

When the sun goes down on Friday night sundown till Saturday night sundown. The Sabbath Day has always been on the 7th day but who lied and said it was on Sunday? Why don’t Christians obey the Ten Commandments about the Sabbath? We should dedicate a day to the Lord, a day when we do not think our own thoughts or spend time in business or worldly pleasure but when we rest and meditate on Him. The command to keep the Sabbath is not just for Jews or a Jewish custom it is from the very beginning.

Creation Day 7 (Genesis 2:1-3)
Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts. 2 By the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

God rests. This in no way indicates He was weary from His creative efforts, but denotes that the creation is complete. Further, God is establishing a pattern of one day in seven to rest. The keeping of this day will eventually be a distinguishing trait of the God’s chosen people

(Exodus 20:8-11)
8 “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath of the Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.

When you become a Christian you are grafted in to Israel and become one with Israel of His chosen people. So you are obligated to keep the Sabbath just like the Jews.

Grafted In (Romans 11:11-24)
I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous. 12 Now if their transgression is riches for the world and their failure is riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fulfillment be! 13 But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, 14 if somehow I might move to jealousy my fellow countrymen and save some of them. 15 For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16 If the first piece of dough is holy, the lump is also; and if the root is holy, the branches are too.
17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree, 18 do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” 20 Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear; 21 for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either. 22 Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you, God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off. 23 And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 For if you were cut off from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these who are the natural branches be grafted into their own olive tree?

One With Israel (Isaiah 56:1-8)
56 Thus says the Lord,
“Preserve justice and do righteousness,
For My salvation is about to come
And My righteousness to be revealed.
2 “How blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who takes hold of it;
Who keeps from profaning the sabbath,
And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
3 Let not the foreigner who has joined himself to the Lord say,
“The Lord will surely separate me from His people.”
Nor let the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.”
4 For thus says the Lord,
“To the eunuchs who keep My sabbaths,
And choose what pleases Me,
And hold fast My covenant,
5 To them I will give in My house and within My walls a memorial,
And a name better than that of sons and daughters;
I will give them an everlasting name which will not be cut off.
6 “Also the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord,
To minister to Him, and to love the name of the Lord,
To be His servants, every one who keeps from profaning the sabbath
And holds fast My covenant;
7 Even those I will bring to My holy mountain
And make them joyful in My house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar;
For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.”
8 The Lord God, who gathers the dispersed of Israel, declares,
“Yet others I will gather to them, to those already gathered.”

*Christians, God chose you from the beginning for salvation. It’s the same truth Peter stressed when he said we are “elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father. . .” When we believe in the truth, when we choose to receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, then at some point we will look back and see that God chose us first.

(2 Thessalonians 2:13)
But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.

Even Jesus said,

John 10:16
“I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd.

(Mark 2:27)
“The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath”

He does not just say Jews He says man.

The law says: “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. . . . That seventh day is Gods Sabbath ” You break the law it is considered sin so to disobey that law is sin. He who breaks the Sabbath command commits sin!

Evidence Of Noah’s Ark

BOZZINSIEME DI ANIMALI(A

Why would Noah build an ark for 75 years at the most? If there were a local flood then he didn’t have to build an ark. He could travel to another place where there was not a flood.
Why would God have to bring two of e…very land-breathing creature to the Ark? If there was a local flood they would be safe where they were located.
The answers to the above questions have no logical sense when we try to interpret the Genesis Flood as a local flood like many has said.

Genesis 9:8-11

8 Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him: 9 “I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you 10 and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth. 11 I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

Genesis 9:16
16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”

If we interpret the Genesis Flood to be a local flood, then God’s everlasting covenant is meaningless because we have many devastating local floods throughout the world and they do not wipe out all the animals. The only interpretation that is consistent with God’s everlasting covenant is that it was a worldwide Flood. Since the fossil records have proven that it was worldwide. What then is my point! I am pointing to the fact that the flood was real.

The Genesis Flood was a judgment on the world’s sin. Sin will always bring death. Jesus talked about the Flood. This world mocks God. This world system loves to sin. God hates sin and must punish sin.
People love the baby Jesus but I have to tell you something. He will bring judgment on this world. If a person refuses to repent and follow Jesus then the person will face the wrath of God.
The world will be surprised when the wrath of God is upon this world.

Matthew 24:37-39
As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
